A note about fees...
The cost for a Certificate of Completion is included in the fees listed for the classes below. If you lose your certificate, or need a duplicate for any other reason, there is a $10 fee charged by West Contra Costa Adult Education, in additional to the fee charged by DMV for the issuance of a duplicate. This fee notice applies to Mature Drive Improvement, and Mature Driver Refresher classes.
TRAFFIC VIOLATOR SCHOOL
This is an 8-hour course established with the cooperation of Public Education Providers and the Department of Motor Vehicles (D.M.V.). The course is open to all individuals who have been given this option.
• Registration in person is required with a $30 non-refundable fee at the West Contra Costa Adult Education Office, 6028 Ralston Ave., Richmond. Please bring Drivers License and court issued paperwork.
• When attending class, please arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled start time. Note: You will NOT be admitted after the class begins.
• Attendance for the 8-hour session is mandatory to satisfactorily complete the course.
• Transfers are allowed once only.
• Bring a ballpoint pen.
