BASIC BEGINNING SEWING
Enrollment is limited to 8 students. Learn to sew, basic techniques of clothing construction, sewing for the home, and creating unique gifts. Learn about fabric and pattern selection, pattern layout, construction methods, plus how to understand and safely use a sewing machine, and factors in the selection of your sewing machine. Factory sewing tips included. ESL students welcome.

CONTINUING SEWING
Enrollment is limited to 4 students. This class will be joining the already existing basic sewing class. (THIS CLASS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS!) Enrollment is limited to 5 students. Continuing Sewing is designed for students who have taken the Basic course and are ready to further their sewing skills with a basic or intermediate project. Review of basics, increased understanding of your machine and additional techniques.

Hat Lovers: Redecorate, Renew, and Refresh all your hats: contemporary or vintage. Your favorite worn, damaged or soiled hats can be renewed with trim: new or restored. We will also cover basic hat restoration techniques for straw and felt hats. Remake your hat wardrobe by learning to restore and correctly apply all manner of trims: ribbons, bows, lace, feathers, veils, flowers, netting, fur, rhinestones, sequins, scarves, bangles, beads, horsehair. Arthritic fingers? We can help. Bring all your hats to class that you want renewed.
