ABOUT BOATING SAFELY
Best known safe boating course. Covers boat equipment, operation, navigation, tide and currents. Boating laws and procedures with emphasis on safety. Taught by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Join other men and women boaters for this 1-day class. You do not need to own a boat, just have an interest. Provides the student with a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certificate and wallet card, and proof of completion of this basic safety course.

BASIC FIRST AID
Enrollment is limited to 22 students. Members of this class will manage bleeding control, shock, learn to describe and react to burns, spinal injuries, severe allergic reactions, poisoning, diabetes and seizures, etc. Certification is awarded upon successfully passing skills and written exam. Must be able to read and understand English. Students who need recertification may come to class anytime between 1:30-2:30pm. Re-certification fee is $20. Must bring in current certification card at time of registration and to class.

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT FOR THE HEALTH PROVIDER
Enrollment is limited to 9 students.
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Also, the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, using an AED, and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. $25 material fee payable to the instructor.

This course meets the requirements established by state childcare licensing, clear credentials, healthcare (BLS or Pro CPR/First Aid), and a wide variety of professional state and federal agencies. Must be able to read and understand English. Certification is awarded upon successfully passing skills and written exam. HEARTSAVER PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR AED
Enrollment is limited to 9 students. This course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states. The course teaches basic first aid, CPR, and AED skills for children. The course provides training primarily for those who are responsible for children, and for anyone who wants to learn basic pediatric first aid and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. $25 material fee payable to the instructor.
