Join Amala to learn the basic isolation exercises, steps and finger cymbal patterns to the ancient art of Belly Dance. Learn the elements of choreography to help you enjoy this graceful and exciting “Dance Oriental.” Dress for dance and exercise. Finger cymbals and veils will be available for purchase at the class.

Enrollment is limited to 25 Students. Students need no partner. You will learn basic salsa patterns and techniques. The last half hour will include advanced patterns. The beginning instruction will be repeated each week but the advanced patterns will be new each week.

This special class conducted by Salsa Champion Ed Jung recommends participants have some dance experience, but not necessarily. No partners required. New patterns every session with an emphasis on technique. Fifteen minutes free-dance at the end of each session.

Enrollment is limited to 25 Students. Cuban Salsa is a lively Cuban variation of salsa dancing developed in the streets of Cuba. Learn movement, techniques and turns specific to Cuban style salsa. No salsa partners necessary.

INTRODUCTION TO MERENGUE

The first half hour students will learn basic techniques and patterns of Merengue ballrooms easiest dance; the second half hour students will learn basic techniques of pattern of partner Disco Hustle. The class patterns will be repeated each week with an introduction of a new pattern each session.

FOLK, POP AND RHYTHM GUITAR (c)

Reading chords, music charts and basic musicianship are the main components of learning guitar. Progress is based upon student participation. Students must have their own guitar. Loaners supplied upon purchase from the teacher. No electric guitars please.

SINGING TECHNIQUE (c)

This class is designed for anyone desiring to learn how to sing and those wanting to improve their singing skills, utilizing the fundamentals of good singing such as posture and health, diaphragmatic breathing, vocal spacing and tonal placement. Individual coaching is available in a safe environment. As voices are also available, we will venture into simple harmonies.
