– More fun than square; more aerobics than round; more fun than sitting in that chair – What is it? Country Line Dancing for Beginners. No partner? No problem! Wear comfortable clothes and smooth soled shoes. Come prepared for fun, fun, fun.
Join Amala to learn the basic isolation exercises, steps and finger cymbal patterns to the ancient art of Belly Dance. Over the six weeks learn the elements of choreography to help you enjoy this graceful and exciting “Dance Orientale.” Dress for dance and exercise. Finger cymbals and veils will be available for purchase at the class.
This class is designed for anyone desiring to learn how to sing and those wanting to improve their singing skills, utilizing the fundamentals of good singing such as posture and health, diaphragmatic breathing, vocal spacing and tonal placement.
This class is designed for beginning singers, and for those with no prior choir experience, as well as those with experience singing in choir. We will learn to sing in traditional unison, two, three and four-part harmony as voices are available. The Singing Technique Class is recommended but not required.
Reading notes and basic musicianship are the main components of the class. Music with a focus on building “classical” style technique. Nylon string guitars are preferable. Progress is based upon student participation. Students must have their own guitar.
GUITAR – BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE (c) This class will continue information and playing based on beginning guitar class. Classical style will be the main focus with basic musicianship and theory also being reviewed and discussed. Students must have their own guitar.
