A course for beginning and advanced students, beginners learn how to set up books, process business transactions, and do end-of-period reporting for a simple business. Advanced students learn more complicated bookkeeping for a merchandising business and study special subjects such as payroll, depreciation, bad debts, and corporate accounting. Skills learned can help obtain employment as an account clerk or bookkeeper.

Knowledge of bookkeeping is strongly recommended for success in QuickBooks Pro.

Materials are approximately $60.

Your FICO score, the rating of your personal consumer credit, has an enormous impact on your ability to obtain financing of any kind, not to mention how favorable the terms of that financing will be. In this one session class, you will learn how the credit scoring model works, as well as what factors compose your credit score and how these factors are weighted. You will come away from the class with an understanding of the dos and don’ts of building and maintaining stellar credit, knowledge which can save you thousands of dollars over the course of your lifetime.

Each year in California there are tens of thousands of REOs (Real Estate Owned) properties available for purchase, and estimates are this number will increase significantly next year. These properties often sell at a much lower price than the original loan amount. Qualification is easy for loans and low interest rates are often available, and even low down payments can be had as well. Learn the techniques of purchasing pre-foreclosures, REOs with low down payments of as little as zero to three percent, which neighborhoods have the greatest potential for home appreciation, how to buy new properties, and how to flip Ugly Ducklings.

To take the exam on the same day as the class you must bring a separate check for $40 payable to the CA Secretary of State, Proper ID and two #2 pencils.

This class is on going, register at any time. To take the On-line class: Come to the office to register and receive the information to access the on-line program and on-line workbook. REGISTRATION FEE IS $55 cash only. To take the State Exam:

The fee for the State Exam is $40 and is paid directly to the State.
